The India International Trade Fair 2010 has opened its doors in New Delhi. It's showcasing a wide range of products and services, both from Indian businesses and overseas companies.
Organizers say marketing is one of the major problems for small businesses, so this exhibition provides opportunities for small-scale entrepreneurs to open up marketing possibilities.
[Samarendra Sahu, Additional Development Commissioner]:
"The primary aim of this exhibition is to give an opportunity to the small-scale entrepreneur to showcase their products, so that you know, they have marketing possibilities open up for them."
Around 30-40 small businesses are taking part in the trade fair. Companies from 23 countries are also showcasing their products and services.
